Last Summer, we were asked to provide accommodation for a wedding at The Millhouse, Slane, Co. Meath. All of the onsite accommodation was fully booked, so our bell tents were the perfect solution.
We set up four of our 5m bell tents to sleep 16 people. This ensured all of the guests could stay at the venue and enjoy the full wedding celebrations. We couldnt have asked for better weather and luckily had all the suncream (and ice-cream) we needed to get the job done.
It took us around 3 hours in total to travel there and back and the setup took us around 6 hours. This included a few breaks to re-hydrate and sit in the shade to cool off. We also got a chance to take a tour of the venue which I will talk about later.
Our bell tents created a unique and stylish way of providing alternative accommodation for the wedding. With their spacious interiors and stylish design, they offered a memorable and comfortable experience for guests.
To ensure all wedding guests could stay together and avoid costly taxi and hotel bills, we provided alternative accommodation with our stylish and spacious 5m bell tents. Splitting guests up into different hotels was not practical due to limited availability and distance from the venue.

The Venue
The Millhouse is a stunning Georgian manor house and is set on the banks of the River Boyne. It features beautifully landscaped gardens and historic architecture. With a capacity of up to 200 guests, it's the perfect location for weddings.
In addition to weddings, The Millhouse also hosts corporate events and private functions. The venue has a variety of spaces, including a ballroom, a bar, and a conservatory, all of which can be tailored to suit the specific needs of the event.
It is known for its picturesque countryside and historic landmarks. Visitors to the area can explore the nearby Slane Castle, take a scenic drive through the Boyne Valley, or enjoy a pint of Guinness in one of the many traditional Irish pubs.
Unfortunately, being in peak season, we didn't get the chance to embrace the local area as much as we had hoped, but we did get a look around the venue and it was stunning. It is steeped in history and dates back to the 17th century. The original mill still stands on the property and adds to the unique charm of the venue.
